meet the Party At Yours team

Thanks for taking the time to come visit us and find out a little more about who we are. We're a very small company with a huge heart and love putting smiles on our clients faces of all ages.

Party At Yours was created back in early 2009, stemming from a love of all things musical. Being able to help kick start clients parties is a pleasure to do and I try to help and advise the best way for them to do that. I am more about helping provide the 'fun stuff' than making a quick buck and beleive in being honest and providing the very best service I can.

We began Party At Yours by hiring out karaoke and sound hire systems only. It was one afternoon that I became inspired after some serious playtime with my 2 amazing neices, Olivia 8yrs and Emily 7yrs to create some musical mayhem for our younger friends.

After a deeper look into the kids party scene, I noticed there was a lack in kids karaoke or even dance themed disco parties, so with much enthusiasm we created our now, very popular range of kids disco and pop star karaoke parties. Venturing on again to create Pop Star school, our school holiday programme aimed at building confidence and above all, having a great time. Parties and activities to engage every young mind.

I am involved with every aspect of Party At Yours from answering the phone to dancing with your kids at their disco or karaoke party. I love seeing the excitment on the kids faces and their infectious smiles. What could be more rewarding!

Rebecca McFazdienRebecca McFazdien host

Rebecca was born 'Off Broadway' in New York City, and has been performing ever since.  She has already performed a wide range of roles in musicals, on screen productions for television and film, and stage shows.  These include Sandy in NYTC'’s production of ‘Grease’ at the Aotea Centre, Anne in ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’, Evilene in ‘The Wiz’ and Mayzie in ‘Seussical’ (NYTC). 

Most recently she performed the role of Belle in Acting Out's production of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'.  She is the Creative Director of the University of Auckland Glee Club which has over 80 members, and was also awarded Distinction for her Grade 8 Trinity Musical Theatre Examination.

She has a passion for working with children and believes that being able to create a magical world in which children can sing and dance freely, fuel their imaginations and laugh with uncontainable joy is a true gift.  She was the co-director of 'High School Musical 2' (National Youth Theatre Company) at the Aotea Centre, in which she worked with over 150 children of all ages over a 5 month training programme to teach them choreography, strengthen their singing and acting skills and help them to find confidence in themselves as unique individuals.  She has been facilitating entertainment at children's birthday parties for 4 years now too, and feels very lucky to be a part of such a wonderful day in the life of both the birthday child and his or her family!

Rebecca is our Fairy, Princess host and also gets her groove on at our disco parties as well.

 

Laura-Jean Bainbridge

Laura Jean BainbridgeLaura-Jean is currently studying a bachelor of performing and screen arts majoring in acting. She has a passion for dancing and singing which makes her skill set for entertaining your children a very valuable asset, as you will find out when she hosts a party for you. She is never short of energy, fabulous with kids and loves partying with them - showing them some new dance moves. 

Laura-Jean is our Disco party host and you will also find her singing with you at our Pop Star karaoke parties.

 

Lilli Kempthorne

Once again, we're very fortunate to have another talented lady Lilli on-board. Through Lilli's background in teaching Drama, speech and vocals, we collaborated to bring you 'Pop Star School'.
Lilli holds her ATCL in Speech and Drama from Trinity College London and is currently completing her LTCL in Speech and Drama as well as Singing.
Later this year she begins her Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a focus of Special Education- an area concerned with children with learning disabilities and exceptional abilities.
Lilli is a strong believer in using music and drama exercises to build confidence and self esteem in children. Lilli also divides her time between teaching in her private singing and speech & drama studio "Acting Out" based in Meadowbank, as well as being Area Director for KindyRock preschool music and movement classes in Browns Bay, Botany Downs and Epsom.
